Confidential briefing from Yuri, soon-to-be Leader of the Entire Earth:
I can clearly forsee our enemies making further desperate attacks upon our bases. As foolish as these attacks will be, it is
certain we will sustain some damage. To limit this damage, I have taken steps to ensure that our bases are even more
impregnable than before. Here, in the second portion of my briefing to you, I will relate the changes made to our defensive
buildings, and the significant changes made to our Superweapon buildings as well.
Citadel Walls
Unlike our enemies, who have chosen to increase the distance from their buildings that their walls can be built, we have
focused instead on durability. Our Citadel Wall is the strongest of all walls.
If you start a multiplayer/skirmish game as Yuri, the Yuri Wall will be the only wall type ever available to you, even if
you own multiple tech trees. This is mainly to reduce build option clutter, and also because different wall types don't
"mesh" together anyhow. This change does not apply when playing single-player missions.

Tank Bunker
Our brilliantly designed Tank Bunker receives a slight boost in value. It can be built slightly further away from our
buildings than it could be before (4 map cells vs. 3 previously).
Gattling Cannon
The Gattling Cannon can not only be built further away from buildings (5 map cells vs. 4 previously), but it is now only
one-half the cost ($500 vs. $1000 previously).

Psychic Tower
The Psychic Tower is significantly revamped. It has been given the added ability to psychically detect planned enemy movement within its
radius effect (psychic detection is no longer available with the Psychic Radar). This detection radius
is rather small, so for full coverage, you will need to build several Towers, including a few in the interior of your base. The Tower is also
merely half the price ($750 vs. $1500 previously), and it can be built further away from our buildings (4 map cells vs. 2 previously). But,
it now acts like a normal defensive structure in that other buildings cannot be built off of it. Additionally, a power plant is now required
as one of its building prerequisites.
Genetic Mutator
The result of the Mutate effect has been changed dramatically and for the better. The alterations to the building which were needed
to accomplish this did weaken the structure itself somewhat, but it is still no less strong than its Allied and Soviet counterparts.
The Genetic Mutator no longer transforms infantry into Brutes, but instead transforms them into a Brute variant known as the
Mutation. Mutations can be easily distinguished from their Brute counterparts by their different color and deeper
voices. Mutations differ from Brutes in that they are harder to kill and much more aggressive, which makes them harder to
control. They are faster than Brutes and their attacks do more damage as well. Elite Mutations are even more formidable.
In short, they are all-round nastier versions of the Brute. However, Mutations lack the Brute's ability to self-heal.
Due to the mutation process that corrupts human tissue, Mutations use a much more unstable DNA pattern than Brutes do, and
will only yield $5 each when put into a Grinder. Therefore Mutations should be used in battle rather than as a source of
income. This DNA pattern makes successive re-mutating impossible, so when Mutations are targeted with the Genetic Mutator, they
are simply killed instead of being mutated again.
Psychic Dominator
The Dominate weapon has been altered so that there is a greater delay between the firing of the Psychic Dominator warhead
that causes buildings to be destroyed, and the effect that causes units to be mind-controlled. Sadly, this means that an attentive
enemy commander may well be able to move his units before they can be dominated away from him. The reason we made this change was
so that the area of effect is now larger. This means significantly more units can potentially be dominated if they are all clumped
together, and that there is a greater likelihood of dominating success if targeting units that are moving.
Absolutely no alterations have been made at all to the Dominator building itself.
Enhancements: When the Dominator weapon is activated, a new EVA 'Psychic Dominator Activated' announcement is heard, and the 'Be One With
Yuri' sound is no longer heard across the entire map; and the building is given an updated build option icon.
With our review of our highly advanced structures complete, we can now proceed to examine the undefeatable army at our disposal.
