- Plugin Support - CannisRules offers support for the major community project plugins.

Assault CannisRules was the mod that pioneered support for the Assault mappack plugins, and will continue to do so. Assault adds distinctly different game modes that are not only fun to play, but also challenge the player to develop different strategies to win. The Assault mappacks must be downloaded separately from the Assault website, and can be used by any mod that supports the Assault plugin.

YR Playlist Modifier As described on the Music Sountrack page, CannisRules all by itself supports the playing of all of the music tracks from all other C&C games up to and including Renegade, along with a large number of user tracks as well. The mod is also designed to work seamlessly with the YR Playlist Modifier, should you decide to use that utility to manage your game's playlist. YR 1.002 Unofficial Mini-Patch The YR 1.002 Unofficial Mini-Patch is a project that seeks to discover and correct game bugs and faulty code, so as to provide a base for other modders to build on, in the hope that all mods can have the most complete level of bugfixes possible. Since fixing game bugs is a primary goal of CannisRules as well, I have enthusiastically supported the UMP, and have contributed to it whenever possible. CannisRules incorporates all applicable UMP fixes. The only exceptions are cases where the mod instead makes changes for balance reasons.

Terrain Expansion While the Terrain Expansion plugin stands alone, it can be improved through mod support for new art code (mainly in the area of enabling waterfall animations & sounds, and tunnel entrance draw-order issues). CannisRules not only incorporates all TX art code additions for current and possible future TX assets, it also adds new waterfall sound code which improves waterfall sound performance on even the maps included with the unmodded game.
