- Issues -

CannisRules strives to fix or at least work around as many RA2/YR bugs as possible. Sadly I cannot fix every bug, and sometimes the mod itself introduces a bug. The contents of this page list many of the known bugs in the mod and in the game. Should you know of a bug that isn't listed here, or should you discover a new bug, please report it in our Forums. If you know a solution to any of the problems listed here, then please offer your solution there as well.

Some long-standing game bugs are well-documented, and as such, may not be listed here to avoid clutter.

- Mod Issues -

  • Can build both regular and stolen tech versions of the same side's MCV when the proper prerequisites and tech steal requirements are met.
    There's no real way around this without removing the stolen tech MCVs entirely.
     
  • Various Mole Machine bugs.
    Subterranean units were never used in RA2/YR so their use is not fully supported. No solutions found.

- Game Issues -

  • When a Chrono or War Miner is lifted by a Mag beam while unloading, the miner keeps displaying its unloading class. Should the miner survive, its owner is left with a useless miner that cannot mine, unload at the refinery, or be put in a grinder.
    No solution has been found.
     
  • Cannot place a new Yuri wall section over a damaged Yuri wall section, as is possible with the Allied and Soviet walls.
    No solution has been found.
     
  • Mirage Tank cameo icon depicts a tank with a rotating turret, when the Mirage Tank does not have a rotating turret.
    The solution is obviously a new cameo. So far I have been unable to make a replacement that doesn't look a lot worse than the one that comes with the game.
     
  • AI does not utilize the Siege Chopper's deployed attack.
    DeployToLand= units cannot follow "Move to" script actions, because they do not believe they ever arrive. Workarounds introduce more bugs than they eliminate. No practical solution has been found.
