As stated on the Legal and Copyright page, assets appearing the the CannisRules: Balance of Power and Beyond Revenge
modifications are the property of their authors. However there are some assets that are available for public and/or private use. You can find
all the assets appearing on this page at PixelOps.
Remember that by downloading and using these assets, you are agreeing to the terms of their usage, as described in the readme files bundled
with the assets themselves. In other words, please give credit where credit is due.
Allied Aircraft Pad
Intended as a non-radar supplementary airpad, the Aircraft Pad first appeared in v1.0 of the mod. Later, the Aircraft Pad graphics were
revised and have been in use since v1.5, and it is this version that is available now. Created by
Sypher_5 and CannisRabidus, it includes a damaged state,
active and buildup animations, in both generic and arctic versons.
The build option cameo for this building, as used by the mod, was created by CannisRabidus, and is also available.
Allied Heavy Tank
This asset was created by CannisRabidus, but does not appear in CannisRules. It is actually an early version of the voxels used for
the mod's King Tiger Tank. As is, this variation is suitable for use as a generic tank, colored for the Allied side.
Arctic Conscript
With this asset, the Soviet Conscript can appear to wear an arctic uniform on snow maps. This asset first appeared in v1.5 and has been in
use ever since. Created by CannisRabidus.
Arctic GI
With this asset, the Allied GI can appear to wear an arctic uniform on snow maps. This asset first appeared in v1.5 and has been in use ever
since. Created by CannisRabidus.
Arctic Initiate
With this asset, the Yuri Initiate can appear to wear an arctic uniform on snow maps. This asset first appeared in v1.5 and has been in use
ever since. Created by CannisRabidus.
Billboard
Since v1.5 of the mod, the Westwood billboard images were replaced with a CannisRules/C-GEN version. That billboard was developed by
Sypher_5 and CannisRabidus concurrently with the 'All Your
Base' billboard that is available at PixelOps, which is a fine
addition to any mod. It also has improvements over the original in that it sports damaged animations, shadow animation optimizations, and
rubble frames which use the proper map theater-specific palettes. So even if the 'All Your Base' billboard is not to your taste, and would
prefer a custom billboard to go with your mod (as I did), the 'All Your Base' billboard is an better choice than the unmodded game's
billboard to use as a base.
Cloning Vats
These images of the Yuri Cloning Vats make the building appear more in keeping with the Yuri building design, rather than the slightly altered
Soviet design which appears in the unmodded game. First introduced in v1.7 of the mod, the images were revised for v1.8 for better appearance,
and it is this version that is available now. Created by CannisRabidus, it includes a damaged state, active and buildup animations, in both
generic and arctic versons.
Colored Damage Smoke
Some units and buildings emit colored smoke when damaged (yellow smoke from ore miners, red smoke from Chaos Drones, green smoke from Nuclear
Reactors, etc). This feature was added in v1.7 of the mod. The colored smoke animations themselves were created by Blade, for
The Project.
Electric Sea Sled
This torpedo boat serves as Yuri's entry-level naval craft, and first appeared in v1.0 of the mod. An optimized version of the voxel was
created for v1.5, and it is this version that is available. Created by CannisRabidus.
The build option cameo for this unit, as used by the mod, was also created by CannisRabidus.
Heavy Tank Destroyer
This asset does not appear in CannisRules. It is actually an early version of the voxels used for the mod's King Tiger Tank. As is,
this variation is suitable for use as a generic tank, colored for the Allied side.
IFV Turrets
The use of many IFV turrets is supported by the game but was never fully implemented. This collection of turrets was created by
Blade and CannisRabidus as a resource for modders looking to
enhance this turret-changing feature in their mods. New IFV turrets were first added to the mod in v1.6, and additional changes have been made
in v1.7 and v1.8. Not all of these turrets appear in CannisRules, and some turrets appearing in the mod are not available, and are
therefore not included in this package.
Movie Screen
The 'It Came From Red Alert' movie screen animation was created by
Sypher_5,
Blade, and
Seaman. It does not replace all the building artwork, only
the active and damaged animations, which means it won't bloat your mod with a lot of large files. When the building is damaged, the movie
scene changes to depict fire and destruction on the screen as well, heh. This asset has been included with the mod since v1.6.
Transport Disc
This is a flying saucer transport used by Yuri's forces. It was created by
Spider-man_2099, and first appeared in v1.5 of the mod
(replacing the rescaled Floating Disc voxel used in v1.0).
The build option cameo for this unit, as used by the mod, was created by CannisRabidus.
Turreted Tank Destroyer
This version Tank Destroyer with its rotating turret first appeared in v1.0 of the mod. An optimized version of the voxels were created for
v1.5, and it is this version that is available. (In v1.8 it was replaced with an updated version with a recoiling turret. The recoil
version is not available at this time).
YAK-24 Transport
This multi-sectioned voxel is basically a resurrection of the Chinook as used in Red Alert. It was created by
Spider-man_2099, and first appeared in v1.5 of the mod
(replacing the Chinook voxel created by Godwin which was used in v1.0).
The build option cameo for this unit, as used by the mod, was created by CannisRabidus.
