CannisRules 1.8 Released!
After a year and a half, a new version of the mod is finally available. Now the Beyond Revenge expansion is complete, making CannisRules
two mods in one (Balance of Power, and Beyond Revenge). Lots of new stuff to play with, more bugfixes and features, and just all-round good
fun.
Download it already, and go play!
Oh you're still here? Well then, I'll take this opportunity to talk about the website. As you might know, I always update the site to reflect
what is currently in the mod, and this time is no exception. Little changes have been made here and there to match the changes and updates
made in the mod. If you don't want to comb through the whole site, these are the pages with the greatest changes:
- The Version History page lists all the changes in 1.8 over the previous versions of the mod.
It is a very, very long list, and I think it's well worth reading to see what this update offers.
- The Beyond Revenge page has quite a bit of new info of course, with the BR expansion now
finished.
- The About page has been given a complete rewrite, because I consider CannisRules to be two mods,
and not just Balance of Power anymore. Read it and you'll understand.
- The Game Options page has a lot of new info also, because there lots of new game modes.
Like, a real whole lot of new game modes. Be sure to check this page out so you can choose the games you want to play.
- The Music Soundtrack, Plugin Support, and
Asset Availability pages are new. Read them to find out what they are about.
While I'm at it, I'd like to wish all my fellow American friends a great Independence Day! If you can drag yourselves indoors at some point,
