Answer to the riddle.

I posed a riddle a couple of months ago, "What has 4 legs and thinks everything is funny?", and I had said that I'd post the answer at the same time that I finished up the private beta. Since I've been gone for a while, which has unfortunately delayed the beta, I decided I'd better just reveal the answer now and put and end to the waiting. In the forum, DCoder came very, very close to guessing the answer early on, and more recently WISHMASTER-tm figured it out exactly. Nice job guys!

Cyborg Ivan The Cyborg Ivan is a new infantry unit which will appear in the next public release of CannisRules. He will only be available as a possible Secret Lab boon, in the same manner as the TK Adept and Chrono Yuri. Eventually he will serve as a stolen tech unit when the stolen tech infantry additions are completed (see this news archive for details. Note that the Cyborg Ivan will function as the Soviet/Soviet tech steal, which replaces the originally planned 'Tesla Ivan' as listed on that page).

Obviously, the Cyborg Ivan is a marriage of two Soviet technologies, and is the grafting of the Crazy Ivan and the Terror Drone. At this point you're probably wanting to know how this guy acts and performs in the game, so here's some details:

Like the other new tech steal infantry, he costs $1500 each, and his weapon is the standard Ivan bomb which is shared with the regular Crazy Ivan. However he is a mechanical unit, and enemy weapon systems will target him as if he was a Terror Drone (Harriers will use missiles, Dogs can do nothing, etc). The Cyborg Ivan is much more heavily armored than a Terror Drone though, and can take quite a bit more punishment. As a trade-off, he moves at normal infantry-type speeds (in other words, don't expect fast skittering around like a Drone. He moves slowly and deliberately instead of galloping). One notable feature is his resistance to damage when nearby Cyborg Ivans are killed. This allows them to be used in groups, because killing one will be unlikely to cause the chain reaction which would kill them all. The enemy is best advised to withdraw his tanks when several of these guys are coming, and to instead use weapons effective against Terror Drones to bring them down.
